LOCALS SCORE AT NATIONALS
United jumpers fared well at this years National Championship of Formation Skydiving in Perris Valley, California. Janet Kelly Lundquist's team, "Vertical Disparity", took third place in the 8 way competition. "Some of my teammates were disappointed that we didn't get straight 10s across the board," said Janet. "But we're pretty happy with third place."
Another team with local jumpers, "Bev's Bosom Buddies" placed fourth in the 8 way competition. "Some of us were disappointed that they trained exclusively at a dz in Cross Trees, New Jersey," said a local jumper, "But we congratulate them on a fine showing. We love them all. Though I feel that they would have had better Karma if they hadn't been so exclusive in their training.
AEROSTORE MOVES
Bidding fond farewell to Pottstown, Marco and Jill have moved the Aerostore to a new home at United. They occupy what were two stores, one on each side of the Sunflower Cafe. "It's perfect," says Marco. You go in the right door you get gear sales. You go in the left you get rigging. You go in the middle you get burgers."

JOE AND KRISTA NABBED IN THE ACT
Two local skydivers were nabbed by police after they stopped on the side of the road to quench the burning flames of passion that raged like a wildfire through their nubile, young bodies. Unable to consummate a day of high adrenaline skydiving, Joe and Krista Hadfield found a dark roadside only to be dealt an auto-interruptus by the flashing of a police car's lights. After a fierce frenzy of flying clothing, the couple regained composure for the policeman. Under interrogation Joe confessed, "Last month we got carried away in the middle of dinner. They threw us out of the restaurant."
SCRAMBLES MIX MAKES FUN TIME
Jumpers with various skill levels signed up and were chosen at random, making five teams for this years scrambles. "We had a great time", said one jumper." Nunzio couldn't make it but he sent Larry Zupnik to take his place. Zupnik had no comment................................

ENGINE BLOWS JUMPERS SPLIT
What is most likely the world's fastest emergency exit took place over United recently. Otter pilot Jack Ronalter found that he was talking to himself when he turned to suggest that his load of jumpers might want to exit after an engine self destructed at 9,000 feet. Douglasville police notified manifest that they had been invaded by jumpers.
97 BOOGIE GETS RAVE REVIEWS
The weather was beautiful. The airplanes worked and the jumpers were there. This years boogie drew jumpers from around the country, pleasing intense skydivers and hard partiers alike. Roger Ponce organized formation loads while Scotty Carbone provided antics and good, hot food at his Carbone Zone Restaurant.
SCHATZ WINS BAD SPOT AWARD
Worst spot of the boogie goes to Larry Schatz. "Actually, I had the two worst spots." said Larry. "One Thursday and one Friday." This puts Larry within reach taking the coveted Helen Keller Award from Mike Bailey....................
